Job summary

Paycom - ATS in The Woodlands, TX seeks a Senior Project Engineer to oversee engineering, fabrication, and testing of gas turbine packages and related equipment. The role blends technical leadership with project management to deliver cost-effective, innovative energy solutions.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in power generation and 10+ years of experience, with the ability to read P&IDs/PFDs and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energies or related field required.
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in engineering and project management of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Background in Power Generation, LNG, or Oil & Gas preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID’s and PFD’s.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products.

Responsibilities

• Project manage the engineering and manufacturing of new equipment and upgrades.
• Communicate and interface with other functional groups within the network of internal companies.
• Maintain schedule to assure on time deliveries.
• Evaluate operational readiness of newly designed gas turbine packages and related equipment.
• Be the liaison between shop personnel and engineering.
• Conduct work in accordance with safety rules, SOPs, and workplace.
