Job summary

RQ Construction, LLC seeks a Senior Project Engineer to support Field Operations projects in Norfolk, Virginia. You will contribute across all construction phases, manage documentation, keep schedules on track, and coordinate communications between teams.

Work closely with PMs, Superintendents, Quality Control, and Site Safety to ensure successful project delivery. Expect growth toward expanded project management on government and private projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; field experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and general internet applications
• Familiarity with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, and Revit preferred
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications required
• LEED Green Associate credential is a plus
• QCM certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with project documentation and scheduling
• Coordinate communication between project teams
• Monitor progress and support project execution
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, QC, and Site Safety
• Potentially assume expanded project management duties on eligible projects
