Job summary
RQ Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support field operations in Norfolk, Virginia. The role involves coordinating project documentation, maintaining schedules, and ensuring effective communication across teams to drive project success.
Ideal candidates have a construction management or engineering background, familiar with Primavera P3/P6, BIM, Revit, and Viewpoint. OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid certifications are required; LEED or QCM credentials are a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline required; equivalent combinations may be considered
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and general internet applications
- Familiarity with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, and Revit preferred
- CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications required (training available)
- LEED Green Associate credential is a plus
- QCM certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with project documentation and schedules
- Coordinate communication between project teams
- Monitor project progress and assist with project execution
- Support overall project management responsibilities as needed
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Site Safety teams
