Terracon in Indianapolis, IN seeks an experienced engineer to provide consulting services across public works, transportation, commercial and industrial sectors. You will lead field investigations, perform analyses, develop plans and specifications, review reports, and coordinate with clients and project teams.

You will mentor junior staff, manage project phases, ensure safety and quality, and contribute to proposals, marketing and business development.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5-8 years' engineering experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering is preferred.

• Ensure consistent quality standards on project and proposal delivery.
• Career level, fully competent engineering professional with responsibility for managing detailed phases of projects with moderate size and complexity.
• Independently perform a variety projects or selected segments of larger projects.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.
• Work closely with senior-level project managers for more complex and larger projects.
• Make design, engineering, and construction recommendations, adaptations and modifications.
• Prepare proposals and reports for projects of varying complexity.
• Perform quality control review of proposals written by others.
• Evaluate complex laboratory and field data for inclusion in reports.
• Interact directly with client and project team on scope, progress and recommendations.
• Write and prepare routine and complex engineering reports detailing services provided, findings, and recommendations.
• Participate in marketing, sales and business development.
• Supervise graduate, field and project engineering staff.
• Work under the supervision of a Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.
• Begin documented mentoring and application process for Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer certification.
