Job summary

C&I Engineering in The Woodlands, TX, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor complex engineering work across oil & gas, food & beverage, and renewables projects. You will be the primary engineering contact on the project and coordinate efforts with Project Management, Controls, Procurement, Construction, and clients.

The role requires a 4-year ABET-accredited engineering degree and about 10 years of multi-discipline experience; PE license is preferred,

Qualifications

• 4-year ABET-accredited engineering degree.
• 10 years of related work experience preparing construction documents in a multi-discipline engineering environment.
• PE license preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate information and design efforts of multi-discipline project teams.
• Interpret construction drawings, technical directions, codes, and design standards.
• Facilitate various types of project meetings.
• Create, understand, and coordinate cost estimates and project schedules.
• Delegate tasks related to the projects effectively.
• Lead planning, controlling, and monitoring of engineering progress on the project.
• Ensure project procedures for engineering are established and known to all discipline leads.
• Monitor project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Contact clients independently to gather information and resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities with existing clients.
• Ensure company policies and standards are followed on projects.
