Job summary

CHEMICAL & INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor multi-discipline engineering work on on-site projects in oil & gas, food & beverage, and renewables. The role requires interfacing with Project Management, Project Controls, Procurement, Construction, and clients to drive execution and resolve technical issues.

The successful candidate will have a four-year ABET-accredited engineering degree, 10 years' related experience, and a PE

Qualifications

• Four-year ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Ten years of related experience preparing construction documents in a multi-discipline engineering environment.
• PE license preferred; PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate information and design efforts of multi-discipline project teams.
• Integrate discipline plans into a plan of execution.
• Interpret construction drawings, technical directions, codes, and design standards.
• Facilitate various types of project meetings.
• Create, understand, and coordinate cost estimates and schedules.
• Delegate tasks related to the projects effectively.
• Lead the organization, planning, and monitoring of engineering progress on the project.
• Ensure project procedures for engineering are established and known to all discipline leads.
• Monitor project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Contact clients independently to gather information and resolve issues; identify opportunities with existing clients.
