Job summary

Moog Inc. in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead production programs for hydraulic and electromechanical actuators.

You will own the product delivery across the lifecycle, including proposal support, kick-off, design reviews, qualification, and production, reporting to an Engineering manager on a 9/80 onsite schedule. You will manage cross-functional teams, track schedule and budget, and communicate with customers during design reviews and technical meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in design/development engineering.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing cost, schedule and scope for technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to develop, integrate, and verify complex electromechanical and mechanical control actuators.
• Coordinate qualification of new products through development test programs.
• Work with Program Management to execute product development.
• Manage project execution, including planning, organizing tasks, and budgeting/scheduling.
• Actively track and report progress toward schedule and cost goals.
