Job summary

EAE USA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to act as the technical lead on major electrical power distribution projects. You will mentor Project Engineers and Junior Project Engineers while owning complex engineering activities from pursuit through completion.

You will collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Field Service, Supply Chain, HQ Engineering, and external partners to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–8+ years engineering experience in electrical power distribution or related field.
• 1–2 years experience with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM coordination.
• Strong understanding of low-voltage power distribution, busway, switchgear.
• Familiarity with NEC, UL, ETL, IEC, and related standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technically complex projects and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project-level technical lead for Capital and Enterprise projects.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers.
• Review drawings, BIM models, BOMs for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Lead design reviews and approve engineering changes.
• Support field installation and customer meetings as needed.
