Job summary
Mars Incorporated is seeking a Regional Project Engineer to lead and/or support capital projects across electrical, controls, factory IT, automation and digital plant tech. Based at one of several Mars site locations, you will drive projects from ideation to closure, coordinating with cross-functional teams and leveraging the Mars Snacking Engineering Execution Standard. The role emphasizes strong leadership, engineering rigor, and value creation for manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or relevant Engineering degree is required.
5-10+ years in a comparable technical role in food, beverage, pharma or related industry.
Fundamental engineering principles across Process, Packaging, Electrical, Controls, Automation, Construction or Computer Services.
Up to 50% travel depending on project demands.
Responsibilities
Develop control systems for automating manufacturing processes and packaging.
Deliver projects to the business that provide competitive advantage.
Design control concepts and specifications for equipment and systems.
Direct modifications, installation, and integration of electrical, controls, Factory IT and Digital Plant Tech systems.
Ensure delivery of objectives for scope, time, budget, and cash flow.
Communicate with the project steering team to achieve project goals.
