Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Special Projects Group in Dallas, TX. The SPE will assist the Project Manager with planning and daily execution of construction projects, managing submittals, materials, and schedules, and coordinating subcontractors to meet contract requirements.

The role emphasizes budget control, proactive procurement, and on-site leadership with no overnight travel, supporting projects across the DFW market.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills with ability to direct others and resolve conflicts.
• Ability to create and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and supplier deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with planning and daily execution of construction projects.
• Maintain project schedules, submittals, and budgets under PM direction.
• Manage subcontractor compliance with Contract Documents as delegated by PM.
• Lead submittal log, material deliveries, and coordination drawings.
• Attend meetings with Architect/Engineer and owner representatives; prepare progress reports.
