Job summary

Gafcon PM-CM LLC is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead field and project engineering on complex construction programs in San Diego. You will oversee quality control, contract administration, shop drawing review, and schedule coordination to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, architecture, or engineering or equivalent.
• CACM certification is preferred.
• Experience in design/construction and project controls.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope, contract documents, drawings, specs, and regs.
• Provide leadership and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
• Coordinate design reviews and update as-builts and logs.
• Review submittals and manage document control system.
• Coordinate cost estimates with the estimator and assist bidding.
• Support preconstruction activities and contractor coordination.
