Zusammenfassung

PC Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Seacoast Special Projects Group. The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or construction management and at least three years of experience directing, completing, and financially managing construction projects, including self-perform work.

You will collaborate with owners, design teams, and construction professionals throughout the project lifecycle, traveling between our Manchester, NH and Portland, ME offices and job sites.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
• Minimum three years of experience directing, completing, and financially stewarding construction projects.
• Experience with self-perform work preferred.
• Strong understanding of architectural, civil, structural and commercial construction; familiarity with MEP scopes.

Aufgaben

• Review design drawings and specifications to determine scope, intent and potential issues.
• Meet with clients to review opportunities and develop scope based on conditions and client goals.
• Assemble and distribute bid packages; manage subcontractor communications.
• Perform detailed takeoffs and assist in estimating projects; obtain scopes and quotations.
• Prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and related documentation; manage logs and coordination meetings.
• Review and update project documents and schedules; prepare RFIs and change orders as needed.
• Monitor progress, control costs, and assist with project closeout activities.
