A leading commercial contractor in California is seeking a Project Engineer responsible for assisting the project manager with documentation, cost accounting, and construction supervision. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction projects and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Benefits include 401(k) matching, medical coverage, and paid time off. Qualifications
3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in Commercial Construction Projects.
Commercial TI experience is required.
OSHPD and/or Medical Office Building experience preferred.
Familiarity with CA labor laws and OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
Assist with on-site management to ensure project execution success.
Identify and mitigate potential project risks before occurrence.
Maintain and review daily superintendent reports.
Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines.
Assist PM with material procurement, tracking, RFI's, submittals.
Organize & facilitate weekly Owner-Architect- Contractor meetings.
