Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company seeks a Project Engineer to drive design and development of Commercial Rooftop and Split HVAC&R products. You will model, test, prototype and validate concepts from idea through launch, while improving costs and reliability.

Hybrid work setup with in-office Mon-Thu and remote Fridays; relocation assistance available for the right candidate. Fort Smith, AR, may require relocation but the Lewisville, TX hint can be considered for related roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace or related Engineering.
• 5+ years in product development for HVAC&R equipment.
• Experience in phase gate development environment.
• Proven HVAC systems development and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of next-generation commercial rooftop and split-system products.
• Guide projects from concept through launch via phase gate process.
• Perform thermo-fluid analysis and testing of design options.
• Coordinate with Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance.
• Own documentation: specs, drawings, BOMs, and test plans.
