Rheem North America in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Project Engineer to lead design and development of commercial rooftop packaged and split HVAC&R systems. You will model, design, prototype, test and validate products from concept through launch, and collaborate across functions to drive cost improvements and ongoing product maintenance.

This role follows our hybrid work arrangement with office Monday through Thursday and remote on Fridays; relocation assistance is available.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace or related Engineering.
5+ years HVAC&R product development experience.
Experience in phase gate development environments.
HVAC systems development and validation experience.
Proficient in thermo-fluid modeling and design.
Hands-on lab experience in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to lead engineers and lab technicians.
Strong data analysis, statistics and experiment design skills.
Proficient with CAD/CAE tools including Creo, SolidWorks, Pro/E.

Responsabilidades

Lead development of next-generation commercial rooftop and split-system products.
Drive projects from concept through launch using phase gate processes.
Perform thermo-fluid analysis and evaluate design options against specs and standards.
Collaborate with Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance to ensure project success.
Design, analyze, and select HVAC components for optimal integration and performance.
Plan and conduct concept and validation testing for reliability and compliance.
Document findings, create reports and manage project documentation.
