Job summary

Bateman Civil Survey Company in Apex, NC seeks a senior Project Engineer III to lead design and technical analysis for site development, transportation, drainage, and utility projects. You will coordinate with Project Managers to develop schedules, manage tasks, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will mentor junior engineers and CAD technicians while applying AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology modeling tools to deliver efficient, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Senior-level engineer leading design and analysis for site development, transportation, drainage, and utilities.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to develop schedules and manage key tasks.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; prepare drawings and reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and CAD technicians.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design and technical analysis for site development, transportation, drainage, and utility projects.
• Develop project schedules with the Project Manager.
• Manage site layouts, grading, stormwater management, and infrastructure design.
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations/reports.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and regulators; oversee permit applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and CAD technicians.
• Support quality control reviews of designs and calculations.
