Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to lead capital projects across multiple US locations.

You will oversee engineering scope, establish project objectives and manage budgets and timelines to deliver critical healthcare infrastructure and equipment. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 10+ years of engineering or operations experience, and willingness to travel about 25% domestically to our seven US plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, science, or closely related discipline is required.
• Proven track record in managing projects to completion and working with external resources.
• Demonstrated excellence in breadth and depth of knowledge within project management.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans, coordinates and directs engineering aspects of projects across multiple locations of major scope.
• Leads development of Project Charter and defines objectives and technical criteria.
• Manages budgets, schedules and resources to meet project goals and customer needs.
