Overview

We are seeking an experienced engineer responsible for producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans for various projects. The role involves collaborating with project managers, applying engineering techniques, and mentoring junior staff to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize technical expertise to develop engineering solutions.
• Lead planning, work distribution, and adherence to schedules and budgets on complex projects.
• Assist in marketing efforts, including proposal generation.
• Manage scope of work, effort, and ensure quality and compliance within projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Coordinate with clients and team members across disciplines.
• Lead discipline delivery on multi-disciplinary projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree with 7+ years, or
• PhD with 6+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification in MA and RI.
• Experience with bridge projects for MassDOT, MBTA, RIDOT, and Massport.
