Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Project Engineer to help develop a state‑of‑the‑art avionics product for the FBM program within a world‑class Integrated Product Development environment. This role supports the Navy’s strategic deterrence through cutting‑edge spacecraft and flight avionics.

You will lead planning across cost, schedule, and technical performance, coordinate with LE2 PLM and Product Team, and collaborate with technical leads to ensure successful delivery of mission‑critical

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
Experience leading projects, teams, and development efforts.
Experience as a CAM and/or Earned Value Management (EVM).
Experience with one or more of the following with product life cycle (development or deployment).
Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.

Responsibilities

Lead, budget, and manage the cost/schedule/technical performance.
Effectively manage project performance (Schedule, Cost and Technical).
Coordinate and establish work lanes for incoming / outgoing program needs.
Support staffing and resource updates.
Coordinate with the LE2 PLM and the Product Team to balance resource requirements through IPT management.
