Join Our Team as a Project Engineer where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state‑of‑the‑art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment with the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. The FBM program at Lockheed Martin has a long and proud history of supporting the US Navy in its mission of Strategic Deterrence since the inception of the Polaris missile program in December of 1956. We are developing the next‑generation of flight avionics for the D5 Life Extension 2 program which will form backbone of the submarine launched ballistic missile program until the year 2084.
The information below reflects the standard job description for this position:
Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00
