Job summary

Mars is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the design and installation of projects across multiple sites. The role involves acting as a senior member of the engineering and project teams, driving technical execution, and delivering value to the business.

Based out of Gainesville, GA, Jackson, TN, Cary, NC or Battle Creek, MI, this position requires strong engineering fundamentals and about half of travel. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in a comparable technical role in related industries.
• Familiarity with process, packaging, electrical, construction or CM concepts.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable technical position - food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry preferable.
• Proficiency in understanding of engineering principals - knowledge of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction or Construction Management.
• In-depth understanding of designated functional engineering area of expertise - Process or Packaging.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% or more requirement depending on project demands.
