Job summary

Mars Incorporated is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the design and installation of projects. You will be a senior active member of the Engineering community, site technical team, the local engineering team, and assigned project team(s), delivering safe and environmentally responsible solutions.

The position is based out of Gainesville, FL or Jackson, TN with approximately 50% travel. You will manage projects across Process and Packaging, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a comparable technical position - food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry preferable.
• Proficiency in understanding of engineering principals - knowledge of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction or Construction Management.
• In-depth understanding of designated functional engineering area of expertise - Process or Packaging.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% or more requirement depending on project demands.

Senior Project Engineer

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and installation of projects. Your role will be a senior active member of the Engineering community, site technical team, the local engineering team, and assigned project team(s).
