Hybrid-based position in our Syracuse, NY; Rochester, NY; Albany, NY; Princeton, NJ; or Blue Bell, PA office.

Your new role

We are seeking motivated and qualified candidates to support environmental investigation and remediation projects in our New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania offices. This position offers growth opportunities for the right candidate to develop skills in managing technical and financial aspects of larger, complex projects, with supervision levels varying by project size and complexity. A strong technical background, professional demeanor, and eagerness to learn are essential.

Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Execute engineering tasks supporting projects under RCRA and CERCLA, including investigations, feasibility studies, remedial designs, actions, and post-remediation monitoring.
  • Support remediation of contaminated soils, sediments, surface water, and groundwater using various remedies such as excavation, capping, containment, treatment, and vapor mitigation.
  • Develop and finalize technical documents in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with scope development, planning, and routine tasks like sampling efforts.
  • Manage tasks, develop project strategies, and mentor early-career engineers.
  • Interact with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
About you
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Possession or interest in obtaining a PE license and a valid driver's license.
  • Completion of OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training, with current refresher, and a strong safety commitment.
  • Experience with remediation technologies and knowledge of state and federal regulations is a plus.

Compensation for this role ranges approximately from $96,677 to $138,973 annually, depending on experience, location, and other factors. This does not include bonuses or other benefits.
