Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Construction Project Engineer to support large industrial projects across the Western United States. You’ll contribute from pre-construction through completion, coordinating with management, field teams and suppliers to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/CE/ME or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or EPC delivery.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and cost management knowledge.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple work packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned construction scopes from planning through project completion.

• Support procurement activities, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules while helping resolve construction issues.
• Review drawings, specifications, and field work to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Assist with construction planning, permitting, site logistics, and coordination activities.
• Perform site inspections and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) while promoting safe work practices.
• Work closely with project management, engineering, procurement, and field operations to support successful project delivery.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or EPC project delivery.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, project controls, budgeting, and cost management.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple work packages simultaneously.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with field and office teams.
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
