• Coordinate utility requirements, relocate existing systems and install new lines.
• Maintain and update as-built drawings, retention systems, and version control for facilities and equipment.

This role leads the complete project lifecycle-from concept and design through installation, commissioning, and final handoff-to enhance plant efficiency and safety. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external contractors, the engineer ensures all initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering field, along with 3+ years of relevant experience with poultry or meat manufacturing. Candidates must have AutoCAD proficiency, and Microsoft Office skills are required for layout design, drawing retention, and project tracking. Leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential to direct contractor teams, enforce safety standards, and execute capital initiatives. Candidates can work in Marshville, NC, Nacogdoches, TX, or Sumter, SC. Relocation is available for qualified candidates. Candidates can anticipate 50% travel at times to other facilities.
