AEI Corporation (Advanced Engineering Investigations) is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our professional staff in Littleton, Colorado.
The candidate will conduct origin and cause forensic investigations involving fires, explosions, and various mechanical and chemical systems, including HVAC and propane/natural gas, performing field work, laboratory testing, code research, and technical report preparation.

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our professional staff.The candidate hired will conduct origin & cause forensic investigations involving fires, explosions, and various mechanical/chemical systems, including HVAC, plumbing components, propane/natural gas, appliances, other machinery/devices, and petrochemical. This will involve field work, laboratory examinations, testing, code research, technical report preparation, and testimony.Functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
This position requires a thorough understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts through hands-on investigation and testing in the forensic engineering field.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Competitive base salary of $150k - $250k plus performance bonus with significant earning potential of 50%+ of base salary (or more) depending on individual performance
The base pay for this full-time, exempt position has a range of $135,000 to $275,000 per year based on skills and experience, plus potential bonus on billed hours.
