Job summary

Fehr Graham is seeking a Senior Project Engineer—Municipal to lead project design efforts and mentor a multidisciplinary team in civil engineering projects. The role emphasizes leadership, client relations and technical excellence in a consulting setting.

The position is based in our West Union or Manchester, Iowa offices, with a focus on transportation, stormwater, hydraulic modeling, and private development programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Eight+ years of experience in civil design and project management.
• PE license required or ability to obtain reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project design efforts.

• Review and validate calculations, plans and reports.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies.

What it takes

Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. If you have eight or more years of experience in civil design and project management, preferably at a professional consulting firm, we want to talk. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or the ability to obtain reciprocity.
