A global engineering leader is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer in California to design and execute protection and control engineering components. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in power systems along with strong communication skills. The position allows for remote work or office presence in Texas or Florida. A strong focus on customer relationships and project execution is required.

This Position reports to: Senior Engineering Manager
As the Sr. Project Engineer - Protection & Control, you will be responsible for designing and executing the protection and control engineering components of projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, HSE requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. You will also be responsible for engineering analysis and troubleshooting for automation, control, and protection in power systems. Approach customers with integrity and respect for long lasting relationships. You will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives per business metric.
For this position, we are open to candidates being full remote or working out of our Houston, TX or Lake Mary, FL offices. This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions group in the United States.

While base salary is determined by qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $98,700 and $157,920 annually.
