Job summary

Newmark Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Director to oversee office and retail space projects from planning through delivery. You will be the primary client contact, ensuring fiduciary compliance and on-time completion.

Responsibilities include coordinating architectural, engineering, construction, and relocation services, monitoring budgets and schedules, and collaborating with Facilities Management, IS, Multimedia, and Security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design, Facilities Management or Construction management.
• Minimum of 8 years related Project Manager experience.
• Experience managing budgets and financial terms.
• Experience with portfolios of 3+ projects and direct reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and compliance.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems; ability to read drawings.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all contracted services including architectural, engineering, construction and relocation.
• Monitor project phases from planning to delivery and adjust schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with Facilities Management, IS, Multimedia, and other services.
• Review project materials for accuracy and completeness.
• Work with the client to determine budgets and objectives.
• Manage projects and project managers on assigned accounts.
• Report on goals, KPIs, and project progress as required.
