Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Project Director for Palisades Tahoe to lead a multi-billion-dollar real estate transformation. You will own the master planning process, guide vertical development, and manage complex partnerships while ensuring world-class guest experiences and brand integrity.

This executive role requires deep expertise in master planning, finance, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong track record in luxury, live-work-play environments and mountain resort development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of senior experience in large-scale mixed-use real estate or resort development.
• Direct experience structuring and managing Co-GP or joint venture partnerships for project verticals.
• Demonstrated mastery of master planning, site infrastructure, luxury vertical construction, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end master planning, land use, infrastructure, sustainability, and phased resort buildout.
• Oversee vertical development including hotels, branded residences, wellness/spa, and F&B outlets.
• Drive project finance, budgeting, cost control, and reporting to executives and the board.
