Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Project Farma Director/Senior Director to lead high-stakes capital projects in Life Sciences. The role requires steering mega projects from concept through startup, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving exceptional client outcomes.

Domestic travel is expected to meet client needs and ensure project success. The candidate will guide governance, risk, and financial performance while mentoring other leaders and aligning with PF’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, construction management or related field.
• 13–20+ years of capital project experience with 10+ years leading large-scale life sciences projects >$200M TIC.
• Expert knowledge of GMP-regulated capital delivery, operational readiness, and project governance.
• MSCM, MEM, or PMP or other advanced certifications are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mega-capital projects and portfolios within Life Sciences and Advanced Manufacturing (> $200M TIC).
• Act as senior advisor/owner’s representative, reporting to the Regional VP with dotted-line to the VP, Project Management.
• Define governance structures and act as the executive interface for client leadership.
• Provide strategic guidance on capital deployment, risk mitigation, and value delivery.
• Oversee project controls, vendor management, team leadership, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and develop project managers and cross-functional leaders; drive PF methodologies.
