Job summary

LJA Environmental is seeking a Project Director to oversee business development across multiple states. You will lead a team of senior project managers and staff, manage client relationships, and drive project profitability and strategic growth.

The role requires strong communication, mentoring, and negotiation skills, with substantial experience in CWA, ESA, ASTM and NEPA processes. Expect a leadership position shaping SOPs and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Experience with environmental permitting and NEPA processes.
• Extensive knowledge of CWA, ESA, ASTM and NEPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the market area's business development and lead a senior team.
• Develop SOPs, review reports, and manage client relationships and negotiations.
• Drive profitability, budgets, revenue forecasting and strategy with executives.
• Lead proposals, marketing events and growth with clients.
