Job summary

Brookfield Renewable is seeking a Manager, Project Development to join our growing development team in the US. This role advances Modal Power's portfolio of late-stage utility-scale solar and energy storage projects, shaping strategy and leading critical development activities toward NTP.

You will coordinate internal and external stakeholders across permitting, interconnection, engineering, procurement, and financing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy development or related fields.
• Strong financial modeling and commercial analysis capabilities.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility-scale solar and storage projects from late-stage development to NTP.
• Develop project business cases, financial models, and investment analyses.
• Coordinate permitting, interconnection, engineering, land, procurement, and contracts.
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, risk assessments, and senior leadership presentations.
• Monitor market conditions and regulatory developments affecting portfolio.
• Drive strategic value creation across development and operating assets.
• Collaborate with utilities, consultants, EPCs, and financial counterparties.
• Strengthen development processes and project controls.
