Job summary

SolSearch Energy seeks a seasoned professional to directly manage a portfolio of community solar projects from secured site through NTP, spanning interconnection, permitting, title, and coordination with construction teams. You will shape financing strategies including construction loans and tax equity, ensuring readiness before groundbreak.

Maryland/Illinois experience is a plus, with a fast-moving, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years developing community solar PV projects (origination through NTP).
• Strong understanding of interconnection, permitting, title, and working with construction teams.
• Experience financing projects: construction loans, tax equity, prerequisites before breaking ground.

Job description

This company develops, builds, and owns its community solar portfolio. No flipping. PE-backed, new leadership team, growing fast.

The role: you're directly managing a portfolio of projects in Maryland and Illinois, taking them from secured site through to NTP.

• Maryland or Illinois experience is a big plus

Comp:

$150-160K base + 15% performance bonus. 2-3 interview rounds, they're moving fast.
