Job summary

Kaz Project Operating LLP is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead multidisciplinary project development in the oil & gas sector. The role requires coordinating execution plans, risk management, and contractor deliverables, with emphasis on HSSE compliance and timely asset handovers.

The ideal candidate will have strong English communication, a senior technical background, and a track record of mentoring national staff in complex projects within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• An additional Gas Process Engineering degree or related training is a plus.
• Chartered Engineering Body membership and PMI affiliation are preferred.
• Demonstrated decision-making as Technical Authority or subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of Project Execution Plans and other key project deliverables.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary reviews, risk and HSSE alignment, and contractor inputs.
• Manage scope, cost and schedule changes; ensure timely project handovers to asset teams.
• Lead cross-functional teams, mentor national engineers, and drive local content initiatives.
