Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, Michigan is seeking a Project Economical Manager to consolidate all economic elements of Advanced Project, Project or Serial Life, ensuring cost commitments meet targets and the cost/performance ratio is optimal.

You will structure cost management activities, monitor budgets, deliver monthly Y+1 forecasts and investment status, and coordinate with Purchasing, Manufacturing and VEMO for reporting and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics (nationally accredited).
• 7+ years experience in cost management with budgeting responsibilities.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical and written/spoken communication skills.
• Fluent or advanced English.

Responsibilities

• Structure the project cost management activity according to the project partners.
• Monitor design to ensure TPC investments are optimal.
• Provide Economical reporting: forecasts, expenses and investment status.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to meet global targets.
• Build and monitor risk and opportunity portfolios.
• Lead cost convergence plans to reach targets.
• Manage annual investments and expenses and report to VEMO controlling.
