Job summary

Lexicon, Inc. is hiring a Project Cost Controller in Little Rock, AR. The role focuses on verifying costs with vendors, estimating expenditures, and recommending cost-saving measures to upper management.

You will develop procedures, collect procurement data, and analyze budgets to forecast and control costs. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), 5+ years in cost controlling, and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years in cost controlling.
• Management experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with cost-estimating methods required.
• Extensive technical knowledge of project materials and processes.
• Detail oriented and proficient in Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost control procedures and tools for budgets.
• Collect procurement and cost information to forecast and manage costs.
• Analyze data to identify budget variances and trends.
• Collaborate with departments to minimize waste and optimize spend.
• Propose proactive cost-cutting measures to deliver projects on time and budget.
• Present strategies and assessments to the executive team.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety regulations.
