Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across multiple U.S. locations, including Massachusetts. The role centers on developing and managing complex schedule and cost baselines, collecting monthly data, and integrating risk reserves into forecasts.

Qualifications

• Expertise in earned value management, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong ability to develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure programs and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with internal procedures and federal/government regulations, updating progress for moderate to high complexity projects.
• Manages project portfolios and projects, including planning objectives, scope, and milestones; develops critical path schedules.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports and discusses findings with project managers; performs portfolio analysis on delivery metrics.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff and may supervise engineers on project work.
