Banda Group International is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support EVMS and project controls at Los Alamos National Laboratory. You will oversee cost estimation, scheduling, performance reporting, and financial status updates for complex projects, requiring Delta Cobra expertise and EVMS mastery.

The role is on-site in Los Alamos, NM, with responsibilities to guide senior engineers, ensure schedule adherence, and deliver clear, accurate cost and schedule analyses to project

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience using Delta Cobra.
• Expert-level knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tools, processes, and requirements.
• Extensive experience with project cost estimating, cost control, cost analysis, financial reporting, and planning and scheduling.
• Experience developing, maintaining, monitoring, and analyzing project schedules.
• Knowledge of project financial reporting systems, controller account codes, earned revenue determination, and project financial status reporting.
• Experience identifying cost and schedule variances, evaluating trends, and recommending corrective actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with standard computer operating systems, office software, and discipline-specific project controls applications.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and resolve complex project controls challenges.

Mansioni

• Support and maintain the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and project controls systems.
• Oversee cost estimating, cost analysis, cost control, financial reporting, and project scheduling activities.
• Supervise schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, and analysis to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
• Identify cost and schedule trends, evaluate variances, and provide recommendations and corrective actions to project management.
• Provide technical direction and oversight for cost engineering, planning, and scheduling activities.
• Prepare, review, and present cost engineering analyses, project schedules, performance reports, and financial status updates.
• Support project organizational, administrative, and control account management activities as assigned.
• Ensure project controls activities comply with established procedures, controller instructions, and applicable EVMS requirements.
• Analyze complex project issues and develop innovative solutions to improve cost performance, schedule adherence, and project execution.
• Provide guidance, training, and supervision to technical and non-technical personnel as needed.
• Exercise independent judgment in determining appropriate methods, techniques, and approaches to achieve project objectives.
