Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Controls Specialist / Quantity Surveyor for a large Combined Cycle Power Generation construction project. You will bridge field construction and project controls, verify quantities, track progress, and support forecasting and reporting to reflect site conditions.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in project controls or quantity surveying within EPC, power, industrial, utility, or heavy construction contexts, with strong field verification experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project controls, quantity surveying, or construction controls experience.
• Background supporting EPC, power generation, industrial, utility, or heavy construction projects.
• Experience with quantity tracking, forecasting, progress measurement, and field verification.

Responsibilities

• Perform field walkdowns to verify installed quantities and construction progress.
• Track earned progress, productivity, and installation rates.
• Validate contractor-reported quantities and progress claims.
• Support forecasting, change management, and project performance reporting.
• Analyze construction progress and identify risks, constraints, and opportunities.
• Participate in construction meetings and collaborate with project teams.
