Job summary

EDG Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager to oversee scheduling and cost control across high-visibility projects. You will collaborate with schedulers, cost analysts, and PMs to refine deliverables prior to stage gates and support process improvements.

The role requires 10+ years of Project Controls experience, strong Primavera P6 and Excel skills, and the ability to communicate with upper management. This is an on-site position in The Woodlands, Texas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or the equivalent.
• Requires 10 years of Project Controls experience.
• Must have Primavera P6 scheduling experience.
• Must communicate effectively with stakeholders and senior management.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Excel is required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities.
• Must be a skilled writer.
• Understand basic project management principles.
• Understand Cost Management, Estimating and Change Control.
• High degree of computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager to develop project scope of work.
• Study and understand all project documents for plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with personnel to prepare plans and schedules.
• Convert scope into a logically linked resource-loaded schedule.
• Prepare realistic schedules with integrated EPC timelines where needed.
• Monitor progress and prepare progress reports.
• Gather accurate progress and cost information at intervals.
• Prepare, review and issue reports to stakeholders timely.
• Advise on impacts, contingencies, and guide scope toward early finish.
• Analyze progress and recommend corrective actions.
