Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager in Portland, Maine, to lead project controls across schedule, cost, risk, and reporting for diverse industrial projects. You will guide multi-team efforts, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and drive governance and data-driven decisions.

Candidate will manage a team of project controls specialists, develop integrated Master Schedules, and oversee cost management, change control, and PMIS usage across programs valued at hundreds of millions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 15+ years’ project controls experience on large engineering/construction projects.
Ability to lead and manage teams (5+ years) and coordinate across multiple delivery models.
Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, PMIS, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

Provide project-facing technical leadership for project controls across schedule, cost, risk, change, and reporting.
Develop and implement project controls plans, governance, and reporting calendars.
Mentor and oversee project controls staff and support integrated master schedules.
Lead schedule development, risk analyses, and recovery planning for large programs.
Coordinate with owner activities, permitting, procurement, construction, and third parties to improve visibility of constraints.
