Job summary

Turner & Townsend in New York is seeking an ambitious Project Controls Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience supporting project controls cost and schedule on large construction projects or programs.

Responsibilities include monthly progress, earned value reporting, and maintaining IMS with input from project teams. Strong English communication and a proactive, organized approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management and value engineering.
• Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite of applications.
• Experience with cloud-based software.
• P6 scheduling knowledge preferred.
• Skilled in the use of industry accepted applications for cost, planning and progress measurement.
• Demonstrates a high level of self-organization, coordination and planning.
• Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, be a team player and integrate easily with others.
• Must have strong and professional English oral and written communication skills.
• Full passport with no geographical limitation.

Responsibilities

• Progress each project every month to monitor project controls in line with the monthly reporting cycle.
• Report milestones of planned value and earned value data, % complete on projects and provide project commentaries.
• Attend project status meetings and report on major material status; update forecast and schedule per progress discussion.
• Summarize project performance metrics and provide direction to project teams and management.
• Develop, monitor and update owners of Project IMS.
• Interface with project stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
