Job summary

Big-D Mission Critical seeks a Project Controls Manager to lead project scheduling, cost management, forecasting, and performance tracking on large-scale data center builds. You will drive data-driven insights to keep projects safely on time and within budget, coordinating with project teams and clients.

The role can be based in Reno, NV or involve travel. You will partner with PMs, Superintendents, Procurement, and Finance to align schedule and cost objectives and to deliver complex data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field preferred.
• 7+ years in project controls, scheduling, cost management, or CM.
• Experience on large commercial/industrial or data center projects preferred.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedules, cost controls, forecasting, and budget reporting.
• Develop and maintain master schedules with milestones and recovery plans.
• Monitor progress, productivity, earned value, and KPIs.
• Analyze impacts, risks, and change management activities.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Coordinate with PMs, Superintendents, Procurement, and Finance.
• Support monthly forecasting, cash flow analysis, and reviews.
• Identify trends and mitigation strategies to improve outcomes.
• Assist with executive reporting and client-facing presentations.
