Job summary

Hill International in Valencia, California is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead cost control, budgeting, and scheduling across projects. The role requires building baselines and using Primavera P6 or MS Project to monitor milestones.

You will deliver dashboards, conduct variance analyses, and report to stakeholders. A minimum of 10 years in project controls is expected, with advanced degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in project controls.
• Master's degree desirable.
• Four year college degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field is preferred.
• Experience performing budgetary, administrative, operational systems support and facility planning work.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex cost, budgetary, and statistical analysis.
• Build and monitor project budgets, track actual costs against forecasts, and manage cash flow.
• Develop integrated project baselines and use scheduling tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project to track milestones.
• Review Monthly updated schedule from contractors and provide input to the project Team.
• Review any potential delays on projects and look for work arounds.
• Spot potential budget or timeline delays early and process formal change orders.
• Deliver performance dashboards, variance analyses, and executive summaries to stakeholders.
• Manage, mentor, and train junior cost controllers, planners, and schedulers.
