GEM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Planner to join our team in Los Alamos, NM. This full-time role supports N3B with primary duties in project controls, scheduling, cost management, and EVMS compliance.

The position allows remote work with occasional travel to N3B sites. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant DOE-related experience, with strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and earned value management practices. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience on a DOE EM FAR-based Tier 1 contract within past 24 months is required.
• Proficiency in scheduling tools, especially Primavera P6, and EVMS requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a project controls resource for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support CAMs, PMs, and field staff through data analysis, reporting, ETC development, and variance analysis.
• Assist with engineering, construction, remediation, and contractual scoping.
• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules (IMS) with cross-functional alignment.
