Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Principal Project Controls Cost Analyst to lead cost control across large capital programs in the New England region. You will develop budgets, forecasts, schedules, and performance reports while guiding governance and decision-making.

Working with project directors, engineers, and finance stakeholders, you will implement advanced project controls, MIS, and program management tools to support successful execution of transmission, substation, and distribution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in Project Controls, Program Controls, Cost Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or Project Management.
• Experience designing and overseeing Project Controls, Program Management, and MIS for large-scale capital programs.
• Extensive experience supporting large utility or infrastructure projects with complex stakeholders.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, cost management, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with earned value management (EVM) and governance frameworks; proficient with Excel.
• SAP and Procore experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project forecasts and cash flow projections for large capital projects.
• Design, implement, and oversee Project Controls, Program Management, and MIS for program-wide planning and reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams and lead status meetings to ensure accurate data collection.
• Monitor variances between forecast, budget and actual costs; provide explanations and recommendations.
• Prepare and deliver regular project controls reports, including EV metrics and dashboards.
• Identify cost trends, risks, opportunities, and corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with policies, governance, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee cost accruals and financial reporting; drive continuous improvement of controls processes.
