Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering in Idaho Falls, ID, is seeking a Project Controls Specialist (III 4004) to monitor schedule, cost, risk, and change management for DOE-related projects. You will analyze controls data, prepare management reports, and support timely decision-making.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of DOE project experience, with proven ability to deliver actionable insights and robust forecasts. This is a full-time on-site position at Idaho Falls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience on Department of Energy related projects.
• Experience on at least one capitol project.
• Knowledge of project controls, earned value management, scheduling, cost analysis, risk assessment, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess and monitor project performance across schedule, cost, risk, and cash flow.
• Analyze controls data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare management reports summarizing status, issues, risks, and actions.
• Support performance reviews with analyses and decision-support information.
• Recommend corrective actions for schedule, cost, risk, or execution concerns.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to support informed management decisions.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of project controls data for reporting.
