Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S. You will develop schedule and cost baselines, collect monthly data, analyze variances, and help with root cause analysis while maintaining risk reserves and generating standard reports.

You will collaborate with project teams and management, implement financial controls and forecasting techniques, and mentor junior staff, with travel as needed and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with Earned Value Management and budget/schedule control.
• Knowledge of government regulations and internal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop time-phased project cost and resource forecasts.
• Analyze schedule progress and productivity.
• Generate earned value reports and perform variance analysis.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior staff.
• Support project controls implementation and reporting to stakeholders.
