Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across locations in the U.S. You will develop complex schedule and cost baselines, monitor variances, and help with risk and forecasting using Earned Value Management.

You will collaborate with project teams, manage financial controls, and provide reporting to stakeholders while adhering to safety protocols. Travel up to 40% may be required in this dynamic, international-focused role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years of related experience
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs.
• Monitors progress of project deliverables and actual expenditures versus forecasts.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports for moderately to highly complex projects.
• Provides technical guidance and training to junior staff and mentors them.
